Dr. Llobet earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Florida and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. He has 30+ years of experience in the development, validation and implementation of leading edge assessments across all industries. His experience in employment screening includes having consulted with Fortune 500 companies across the U.S., and his assessments have been implemented by over 10,000 companies, ranging from small, entrepreneurial firms to corporate giants. He founded PsyMetrics in 1996 and is the creative force behind PsyMetrics’ innovative approach to pre-employment testing. He has developed a comprehensive, proprietary library of assessments that follow a unique “building block” approach. This approach allows for organizations to “mix and match” assessments to create an efficient, cost effective, customized assessment solution that specifically matches the organization’s competency needs, both from a behavioral and aptitude perspective. He has partnered with distinguished talent management companies who deliver the PsyMetrics assessment line throughout the U.S. and abroad under private label arrangements. He has also worked closely with several well-known professional and collegiate sports organizations during the athlete recruitment and draft process. His proprietary athlete testing instruments provide coaches and scouting personnel with a snapshot of the athletes’ mental fitness. Dr. Llobet is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists.
